MY STORY
Over TWO decades of Love for Cotons in the South!
In 1999 l fell in love with my first Coton de Tulear. My sister Deborah Howington had a few Cotons imported from Europe. Two years later we had a litter born. My sister gave me one of the pups from her first litter . Her name was Star. She was such a joy! Her sweet disposition and personality won the hearts of all who entered our home. It didn’t take me long to realize that what I had been told was definitely true. You can’t just have one!
Biscuit joined our family the following year. She had her first paying job, a photo shoot at just a few months old. She was always happy and full of mischief the moment I brought her home! Biscuit could easily jump onto the kitchen table and help herself to whatever she could find there. She could have easily shown in Agility.
Then entered Coton Brie’s Chattahoochee. Hooch was imported by my sister and I from CotonBrie in Italy. He was the first dog I entered the show ring with. Thankfully he was an outstanding puppy and entered the ring as if he owned it! He was a joy to show, actually he showed himself! At a year old he took Best in Show. He is now retired and lives in Charlotte NC with a family with 2 small children.
I didn’t show either of my girls, I did however show some of their daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters in Conformation, finishing all as Champions!
That labor of love has given me Speedy. He’s the accumulation of several of the Champions born in my home. Speedy is all white, great pigmentation and has the perfect temperament for a Coton. He’s 11 pound and as fast as lighting! He would be the perfect pet for a child of any age. Gentle and loving but always ready to play and give kisses! He’s a little spoiled and sleeps with me.
I do occasionally have a litter of puppies. All our puppies are raised in our home and socialized with my grand children, a 5 year old and a 4 year old. Our puppies are also well socialized with adult Cotons, which is essential to them learning "Puppy Manners". Our adults are health tested and our pups are vet checked and come to you with their first shots and a health guarantee.
Please contact me to inquire about availability. Serious inquiries only. An $1000 deposit is required to reserve the puppy of your choice.
